Oasis Studios LLC ("Company," "we," "us") operates the Oasis Studios Bookkeeping application ("Software"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Software.

1. Information we collect

When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we access the following data through Intuit's authorized APIs:

We also collect your Intuit account email address for authentication purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the data we collect exclusively to:

• Provide automated bookkeeping services (transaction categorization, reconciliation, reporting)
• Generate financial dashboards and summaries
• Send alerts for anomalies or items requiring review
• Maintain and improve the Software

3. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with third parties. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or court order
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers hosted in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
• OAuth 2.0 token-based authentication with Intuit (we never store your QBO password)
• Role-based access controls
• Regular security reviews

5. Data retention

We retain your QuickBooks data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect your QBO account or request deletion, we will remove your financial data from our systems within 30 days, except as required by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data
• Disconnect: Revoke our access to your QBO account at any time through Intuit's My Apps settings
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

7. Cookies and tracking

The Software uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

8. Children's privacy

The Software is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy with a new effective date.
